One-time setup

Choose your device

Android uses the native Notestopin app. iPhone and iPad use an Apple Shortcut that opens the mobile capture editor.

  1. 1

    Install the native app

Install Notestopin from its Android release. It appears as an app and as a Share destination—Chrome is not involved.

  2. 2

    Share a Pinterest Pin

In Pinterest, tap Share and choose Notestopin. Android passes the Pin directly into the native editor.

  3. 3

    Add the useful context

Write in Markdown, add tags, preview the note, and save. It is immediately searchable in the on-device library.

The exported file uses Notestopin’s existing schema. Import merges by Pin ID and keeps the newer version; it does not delete your desktop notes.
